Today’s recipe- Gulab Jamun

Ingredients required for Gulab Jamun – 100 g. Mawa (Khoya), one tablespoon all purpose flour, 0.5 teaspoon baking soda and ghee.

Ingredients for Chashni – 2 cups sugar, 2 tablespoons milk mixed with water, 4 cardamom powder and 2 cups water.

Gulab Jamun Recipe

In a vessel (khoya) kneaded by hand. Mawa should not have kernels. Now mix soda and maida in mawa, neither be too hard nor too soft. Keep in mind mawa, maida should not be dry. If it feels dry, then wet the palm with water and then knead it again. When the mixture of mawa, maida is well prepared, then divide it into small balls.
Then heat the ghee in a pan on the gas. Put a piece of bread in it and fry it. When the bread rises in the ghee, reduce the flame and add gulab jamun balls in the ghee and fry till it becomes brown in color. – When the ghee starts to cool down, heat the ghee by heating the flame before putting the balls in the pan and then reduce the gas and bake gulab jamun. And then take it out in a pot.

Method of preparation for Chashni

For sugar syrup, put sugar and water in a vessel and keep it on low flame on the gas and keep stirring it with the help of a big spoon until the sugar dissolves.

– When the sugar dissolves, turn the flame to high and allow the sugar syrup to boil. Now add milk in sugar syrup, let it boil on high heat. Boil the sugar syrup until it becomes slightly thick.

Try taking sugar syrup in a spoon and sticking it with your fingers. Turn off the gas if there is viscosity.

Otherwise cook for a while and then check. After this, sieve the sugar syrup with a sieve and put it on the gas again, and mix ground cardamom in it and cook it for 1 minute.

Turn off the gas and add gulab jamuns in this prepared syrup. Gulab Jamun will soak the syrup in 0.5 hours.

Delicious Gulab Jamuns are ready, eat them in katoris and feed them.
